Rates:
The rates listed are for the time period indicated in the rate schedule. All students, who apply for and are assigned a bed, pay a fee to live on-campus. The rate is determined by the assigned bed and the selected meal plan. Three payment plans are available: one, two or monthly payment plans – and we accept cash, check, Visa or MasterCard. There is also a Financial Aid Special Payment plan that is restricted to housing applicants who meet the deadlines outlined in the application packet and have applied for financial aid and been awarded monies through the Fresno State Financial Aid Office. The room and board rates typically increase 2 to 5% per year. See the Account Information page for more information regarding payment plans.
Room Options: All of our services are included in one affordable price. Continue scrolling or click a Living Option below to view the rates and floor plans. Amenities:
Community Style Living
Baker, Graves and Homan Halls
Community Style Living is your best opportunity to experience living in a community of students who have a common goal, education, and to meet a diverse group of residents – the majority of which are new to the Fresno area. Approximately 650 men and women are assigned to coed community style halls. Double occupancy rooms are located along a shared hallway in a traditional residence hall (limited singles available; no triples available). Gender designated common bathroom with private dressing/shower rooms on each wing. Priority for Baker, Graves, and Homan is given to returning residents who apply by March 26, and then open to all applicants, including Freshmen, who submit completed on-campus living application packets by April 1 (subject to availability or placed on the University Courtyard waiting list).

Residence Suite Living Aspen, Birch, Cedar, Ponderosa, Sequoia, and Sycamore Halls While providing a greater degree of privacy, the design of the residence suites makes meeting residents other than suitemates more of an individual challenge. Approximately 420 men and women are assigned to suites. Double occupancy rooms are located in one, two, or three bedrooms suites (single and triple occupancy are limited). Residence suites are gender designated; however, men and women live next door to each other on the same floor. Priority on first come, first served basis, according to receipt of completed on-campus living application packet and information below:
Each of the suite and occupancy types are limited. Aspen and Ponderosa halls are quiet living; Cedar, Sequoia and Sycamore halls are regular living. If a bed is not occupied during Fall check-in, a resident(s) will be assigned at any time during the course of the academic year. University Courtyard reserves the right to convert single occupancy bedrooms to double occupancy bedrooms. No resident will be denied an available space. See Glossary of Terms. |
