Have your son or daughter apply early for on-campus
living and the university as this can alleviate the stress of missing
deadlines or being placed on the housing waiting list. University
and University Courtyard applications are usually available in October for the following academic year
or Spring. Whether your son or daughter is a new resident or current
resident that wants to return, a complete on-campus living application
packet is required (See Glossary of Terms).
Applicants who apply for on-campus living after we are full are placed
on a waiting list. Being placed on the waiting list is stressful as
a bed may not be available until after classes have started or until
well into the semester.
Prospective Fresno State students’ parents: If you are considering encouraging your son or daughter to live on campus for the first time, it is important that you read the on-campus living application packet. Several aspects of the license agreement, as well as related University Courtyard procedures and deadlines, are discussed throughout the application packet. There are financial responsibilities that must be met if your son or daughter applies for and is assigned a bed. You may also like to review the current year’s guidelines and policies in the Student Handbook and Weekly Planner. Current University Courtyard residents’ parents: If your son or daughter currently lives on campus, we have made several minor changes to the application packet. Please be sure to review it. |
