Because of the noise level, musical instruments may be prohibited in the residence halls.  Amplified music is prohibited.  Stereos are not to be played through open windows.  Residents in violation of this policy may have the items confiscated by Housing and held until the end of the semester. There are study rooms located in the lobby of each community style hall that are semi sound proof. There is also a piano for use in each as well as in the conference room, located inside the atrium
