University Courtyard is located on the California State University, Fresno campus on the northeast corner of Cedar and Shaw Avenues. California State University, Fresno is located in central California approximately 230 miles from Los Angeles, 195 miles from San Francisco and 160 miles from the Central Coast. The university is 10 minutes from the Fresno-Yosemite International Airport and 20 minutes from the bus or train station.

Sunny weather and convenient accommodations describe the Fresno area and University Courtyard. The average temperatures: June high 92°/low 60°, July high 98°/low 65° and August 96° high /63° low. The residence halls are just a few steps from the University Courtyard Dining Hall and within an easy 7 minute walk of the majority of classrooms, meeting facilities, campus restaurants, University Student Union (bowling, billiards, video games), library, Satellite Student Union (large meeting space for a fee), athletic facilities, and Save Mart Center. Fresno is near three national parks, recreation areas and museums. Summer Conference inquiries and reservations are continuously accepted.

Hosting a conference in a university setting can be the right choice for your group! University Courtyard is available for groups wanting overnight accommodations and meals during the summer (first weekend in June thru the second weekend in August).

Adult and youth groups hosting educational seminars/workshops, sport camps, reunions, university sponsored or federal and state funded/sponsored programs make advance reservations for room and board by contacting the Summer Conference Office at 559. 278.4705 or submitting a Request For Quote.

University Courtyard offers a variety of hall and room types. Traditional (community style) halls have rooms located along a common hallway with two people per room of the same gender. Each wing has a shared common bathroom. Residence suites have one- (limited), two- or three-bedroom suites with a shared living room and shared bathroom. Men are assigned within one suite and women within another. The majority of the bedrooms are double occupancy. From two to six occupants share the suite. The living rooms in the residence suites are furnished with a loveseat, chair, coffee table, bookcase, and micro fridge.

University Dining Services offers breakfast, lunch and dinner at the University Courtyard Dining Hall from the first weekend in June thru the second weekend in August. Groups should make prior arrangements through University Courtyard for meals so food will be prepared and available for the designated time.
