Man Passes Out Drunk In A Car That Won´t Run, Wakes Up To A DUI
Minnesota: Daryl Fleck got drunk one night and stumbled out of his house to his car to sleep it off. A neighbor noticed him and called the cops. When they woke him up, they charged him with a DUI. He got 48 months in jail and five years probation.
Fleck appealed it up to the Minnesota Supreme Court, but still lost. Things like the keys being on the center console and the engine being cold held no water with the courts, but what really defies reason is the car would not start at all.
An officer tried starting Fleck´s car after they impounded it, and it would not run, yet they still charged him with driving under the influence. He did have prior DUIs, which did not sit well with the jury, and the conviction was upheld.

Fugitive Posts His Location on Facebook, Police Login to Express Their Thanks
Indiana: 39-year-old fugitive Christopher Crego is back in police custody after practically handing himself to police on a silver platter using his Facebook and MySpace pages.
Crego, who fled sentencing on assault charges, displayed his correct address on Facebook along with a comment to the effect that police will never catch me. Police were left with the simple task of going to his address and arresting him.
Following the arrest police logged onto Facebook and posted their thanks on his page, saying that "it was due to your diligence in keeping us informed that now you are under arrest."

Driver Attempts to Hide From Police by Burying Himself in Snow
Ontario: A 25-year-old driver has added hypothermia to his considerable legal problems by attempting to evade arrest by burying himself neck-deep in snow. Police discovered him and sent him to hospital by ambulance.
The driver and a passenger fled their vehicle, and a third person remained in the vehicle after they got stuck in the ditch. Police discovered what they think is methamphetamine and a stolen snowmobile when they searched the vehicle.
All three have been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of stolen property. One has been released and the other two are awaiting bail hearings.

Funnel Cake
Ingredients:
× 1 egg
× 2/3 cup milk
× 2 tbsp. sugar
× 1 1/4 cup flour
× 1/4 tsp. salt
× 1 tsp. baking powder
Directions:
- In a deep skillet, heat about two cups of oil over medium-high heat until hot. Test the temperature by dropping a pinch of flour into the hot oil. If it sizzles right away without smoking, it's perfect.
- Beat egg and milk. Mix all other ingredients in a separate bowl and slowly add to the egg mixture, beating until smooth.
- Using a funnel, drop into hot oil working from center outwards in a web pattern. (You can use a gallon sized freezer bag instead of a funnel by pouring the batter into the bag, snipping off a small corner of it, and squeezing the batter into the oil.)
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes, remove from the oil when golden brown and crispy.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
