CSUF Department of X

Current Residents

We’re glad you decided to spend this academic year with us. We hope the information on our web site, the Student Handbook and Weekly Planner (provided at check-in), and the application packet will be useful in answering your questions, outlining our services and providing guidelines for effective living and learning in our community.

We hope that you will have a rewarding experience while living at University Courtyard. What you get out of your residence hall experience depends upon what you put into it. We hope you will seek opportunities to get involved and to learn more about yourself and the people who live around you. By becoming involved in your community you will gain an awareness and appreciation of the differences in all of us.

Guidelines and policies have been developed for the safety and comfort of our residents and, in some cases, to comply with federal, state, and local laws (see Student Handbook and Weekly Planner). If you have concerns about your living environment, talk with your Resident Advisor. If you and your advisor are unable to resolve your concerns talk with your Resident Director. If you are unable to resolve your concerns at this level, the Resident Director will encourage you to set-up an appointment to meet with the Assistant Director of Housing.
